50 actors of the defense ecosystem met with future Singaporean partners
Within the framework of cooperation in terms of defence technologies and equipment, and to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Singapore state, a delegation of 50 French partners arrived in Singapore on 26 and 27 October to participate in the first "French-Singaporean SME Defence Seminar", which was organised by the Direction Générale de l’Armement (DGA) and Business France.
A specific session of the Seminar organised at the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) allowed the 50 French partners to meet with the Singaporean defence ecosystem and saw the active participation of 250 people.
The Executive Director of DSTA, Mr. Tan Peng Yam, as well as the Asia-Pacific Director of DGA, General Engineer of Weapons Jacques Cousquer spoke on this occasion.
Mrs Laurence Beau, First Counsellor and Chargée d’affaires at the French Embassy in Singapore, then welcomed the French companies and the Singaporean representatives to the French Residence, in order to continue the discussions.
