8th International Science Youth Forum – French team laureate of the poster competition

On the occasion of the 8th International Science Youth Forum, Hwa Chong Institution (HCI) and Nanyang Technological University invited 44 schools from 20 different countries. High school students took part in 5 days of interaction, meeting and scientific discussions on how to better explain scientific concepts to the general public.

Cité Scolaire Internationale de Grenoble (Europole), represented by lecturer, Eric Martinet and by two students, Loughlin Dudley et Thalia Wildhorn, took part in a competition and presented scientific posters that they made. The project research was based on the study of various natural food dyes which could all be strong contenders to act as dyes in the Grätzel cells. The French team won the first prize ex-aequo of the competition judged by 4 Nobel prize.
