Documentaries about French designers to be premiered at first Singapore Fashion Film Festival
Singapore Fashion Film Festival is the first festival to bring the world of Haute Couture, ateliers, fashion and designers creative process to Singaporean screens. For its inaugural edition, the SFFF invites you to enter into the ateliers of some of the biggest names in fashion to discover the creative process behind their work. Experience the catwalk from exclusive front row seats and land backstage passes to the major international fashion weeks, all through the 10 documentary films premiering in Singapore. Highlights of the festival include the film, Yves Saint Laurent, Pierre Bergé – "L ’amour fou" which tells the story of the personal lives of Yves St Laurent and his life partner, Pierre Bergé, through the sale of their private art collection. Other films include, "The Day Before: Jean-Paul Gaultier, Donatella Versace, Alexander Wang"; "Signé Chanel"; "The Secret World of Haute Couture"; "Paul Smith, Gentleman Designer"; "Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton"; and "Picture Me, A Model’s Diary".
Be the guest of some of the world’s renowned ateliers in Paris, Milan, London and New York, and discover the exquisite mastery of the world’s finest craftsmen.
This event is part of Voilah! French Festival in Singapore which is taking place from 25 October to 15 December 2011.
