French Photographer Etienne Clément in Singapore during the Noise Singapore 2011 Festival Showcase.
Hailing from Paris and London, conceptual photographer Etienne Clement will be conducting a conference and an exclusive workshop during the Noise Singapore 2011 festival showcase which is taking place from 17 February to 7 March.
The talk , which will take place at Alliance Française on 17 February (Thursday) will focus on the Paris-born photographer’s career, which began in architectural photography and how his practice evolved into his current "macroworld" photographic series involving the creation of "other" worlds and narratives with aging toys against backdrops of dilapidated buildings. The 2-day workshop will give opportunity to the public to reconstruct a macroworld and to work on its photographic presentation.
Etienne Clément’s works have been exhibited in galleries across Europe, including the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art Gateshead in Gateshead, Magda Danysz Gallery in Paris and Galeria Fruela in Madrid , etc.
