French President François Hollande inaugurates the French National Shipping School (ENSM) and the CMA CGM Bougainville at Le Havre
French President François Hollande inaugurated the French National Shipping School (ENSM) and the CMA CGM Bougainville, the largest container ship sailing under the French flag on Tuesday 6 October 2015 at Le Havre (Seine-Maritime), in the presence of Mr. Laurent FABIUS, Minister for Foreign Affairs and international Development and Mr. Alain VIDALIES, Secretary of State for Transport, Sea and Fisheries.
The French President highlighted during his speech at the new ENSM centre, in the presence of Mr. Edouard PHILIPPE, Mayor of Le Havre, that the aim of the State is to make the school a "centre of excellence". The building can accommodate around 300 students.

The CMA CGM Bougainville is the largest container ship in the world under the French flag. The 400m long ship is made operational on the Asia-Europe route of CMA CGM Group. It is the symbol of a France at the centre of the global economy. The ship possesses the latest technologies in terms of environmental concerns. It will be docked at Le Havre for the 77 days.
