French Singapore ICT Awards 2010
During Communic’Asia and Broadcast’Asia 2010, more than 35 French companies will exhibit and a dozen others will have meetings with regional operators and broadcasters. UBIFRANCE, the French Embassy in Singapore and the French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (FCCS) have decided to support them by granting 4 awards to 4 French companies, selected by a Franco-Singaporean jury board composed by the following French and local authorities and companies :
Mr Loo Cheng Chuan, Principal of Singtel Idea Factory
Mr Andrew Khaw, Senior Director at IDA
Mr Yeo Kim Pow, Senior VP of Mediacorp Technologies
Mr Denis Rapone, member of the ARCEP Board
Mr Thomas Lim, Senior Director at MDA, Special Programs and Director, Interactive Media and Games
The award will be granted by His Excellency Olivier Caron, Ambassador of France to Singapore during a cocktail party offered by UBIFRANCE and FCCS on June 17th in the presence of the jury board.
All French companies exhibiting in the French Pavilion through FCCS and companies meeting with regional operators or broadcasters through UBIFRANCE will be part of the pool of eligible nominees for the following awards :
Most Innovative Solution
Recognizes a French patented solution launched by a company in 2009 which made a significant breakthrough in terms of technological or applicative innovation contributing to service revenues and customer satisfaction. The solution must have been launched after January 2009.
Main criteria : Innovation, Technology, Added Value Service
Best Competitiveness Improvement Solution
Recognizes a solution (hardware or software) which made a significant contribution to customers’ satisfaction, visibility or revenues and their overall competitiveness.
Main criteria : Added Value Service, customer visibility growth and satisfaction, customers’ measured impacts and feedbacks
Best Broadcasting Solution
Recognizes hardware equipment (from Broadcasting core equipment to STB) or added-value service from a French company which made a significant contribution to broadcasters’ revenues and customer satisfaction. The solution must be operated by at least one national broadcaster in Europe or in Asia.
Main criteria : Description of the equipment or the solution, measured impacts and results
Fastest Growing Company in Asia
Recognizes a French company who made a significant growth in Asia in terms of revenues, number of customers, number of offices and job creation. The company must have at least one office in Asia.
Main criteria : Revenue and growth rate in Asia during the 3 last years, number of customers, number of employees in Asia
The cocktail reception will be held at Society Bar, Marina Bay Sands Resort on June 17th 2010.
