Lowave is back to The Substation for the Experimental Film Forum
Silke Schmickl, artist and director of Lowawe is back to The Substation during the Experimental Film Forum which will take place from 7 to 10 June 2012. She will be curating the screening of "Shifting Realities: 10 years of Lowave" on 8th June followed by Q&A with the audience. On Saturday 9th June, she will join the open forum on the topic "Progression in Experimental Cinema"
Silke also works as an independent curator for international museums and institutions and is one of the curators for "Human Frames, a traveling film programme which works with artists from Asia and Europe and which premiered at the Substation last year.
In this 3rd edition, the Experimental Film Forum will showcase another round of riverting short films, pushing bounderies of storytelling, concept building and technical imagery. Showcasing local and international films, the Experimental Film Forum will show you another side of artistic creativity for the curious and open-minded.
