French puppetry group Démons et Merveilles showcases in Tampines Primary School Black Box their indoor theatre production, "Lulu Nuit Blanche", a tale aimed at 3 to 6 year old children. The group will also be conducting a 3-day workshop between 18 to 20 March, where children aged between 9 to 11 years old will learn about masked performance, the different type of puppets and the technique of handling puppets. The objective is to help deepen the learning experience and expand the exposure and appreciation of local students to puppetry.

Lulu Nuit Blanche relates in a funny way the journey of a small child through the night. Lulu gets into bed. And has difficulty falling asleep. The blanket is constantly moving about. The pillow looks like mad. The socks are partying under the bed. Lulu doesn’t sleep. Turns around and around. Plays with his hands. Wakes up on the floor. Lies down. And lies down again. Dreams. Puts his pillow like that, then like that. Lulu does not sleep. Talks with stars. Wakes up on the floor. Still dreams. The night is long.
