Merlion 2010 call results

The French Embassy, the Ministry of Research and Higher Education and their Singaporean partners : National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological university (NTU), Singapore Management University (SMU), Agency for Science Technology and Research (A*STAR), Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory (TLL) and the Singapore Eye Research Institute (SERI) are pleased to announce the results of the 2010 Merlion call for projects.

Launched in 2005, MERLION is a Franco-Singaporean scientific research programme conducted by research institutions in both countries to facilitate and cultivate the formation of joint scientific research projects, programmes and joint labs.

Among the numerous applications received 13 projects, 2 workshops and 1 PhD candidate have been selected by a French-Singaporean scientific evaluation committee. As in previous years, the overall quality of the proposals was excellent. These projects cover various research fields of interest to both France and Singapore.
