Reception at the Ambassador’s Residence for the agents of the French Trade Commission-UBIFRANCE in Singapore
Coinciding with the launch of the French Trade Commission-UBIFRANCE in Singapore, the French Ambassador to Singapore, Mr Olivier Caron, received its agents at the French Residence on 29 September 2010.
Mr Michel Cywinski, Country Director
French Trade Commission-Ubifrance agents
Under the authority of the Ambassador, this new structure, comprising 10 specialists, will carry on as well as develop the business support rendered to companies until now by the Regional Economic Service. In collaboration with the other institutions (FCCS, CCEF, Sopexa, regional commissions, Atout France) and in coordination with the other French Trade Commissions of ASEAN, the Singapore team will offer a range of services and aid to facilitate the access of French firms, especially SMEs, to the Singapore and Brunei markets.
In 2010, there will be close to 280 enterprises which would benefit from the services of UBIFRANCE in Singapore. In a period where the number of French export firms are once again on the rise, the creation of this mission, dedicated to operational support, would help to further encourage our exporters to explore one of the most dynamic markets in Asia.
