Safran opens new facility in Singapore [fr]
Safran Helicopter Engines has opened its new regional headquarters dedicated to engines support in the Singapore’s Seletar Aerospace Park. The event was celebrated in the presence of Guest-of-Honour Mr. Lim Kok Kiang, Assistant Managing Director of Singapore Economic Development Board and H.E. Mr. Benjamin Dubertret, Ambassador of France to Singapore.

This facility will triple its industrial capacity to support support its regionally based powerplants, the French group announced on 25 May. In a presentation, the company revealed that there are approximately 1,000 Safran helicopter engines in use with 175 users in the Southeast Asian region and India - the centre will also support users in the Indian subcontinent.
