The centaures open the Singapore Arts Festival 2012
This year, the Singapore Arts Festival will kickstart with the centaures through the theatrical presentation "Flux" by the French group, Theatre du Centaure. This group is lead by Manolo Bez and his wife, Camille Galle and tell the story of the mythical creatures which live among us. The centaure pursuits his quest and brings us with him in his journeys, while questionning the ties that binds us rather than the borders which separates us.
Also included in the Singapore Arts Festival’s programme is "An Umbrella for 2" ("Un pépin pour 2" in French) by the French group Espace Sonores, which takes you through a "sound walk" under this umbrella where the contextual music written suggests fresh perspectives of the surroundings.
