Mis en place par le BMRC, ces consortiums touchent différents domaines de la biologie. Leur rôle est à la fois de coordonner et de conduire la recherche transversale à Singapour et aussi de développer des liens et interactions pluridisciplinaires entre les différentes composantes singapouriennes de la recherche biomédicale. L’objectif est que ces organisations facilitent le passage des connaissances et outils technologiques acquis en science fondamentale au niveau clinique afin d’obtenir des applications pour le diagnostic et le traitement de différentes maladies.

The National Neuroscience Institute (NNI) is the national specialist centre for the management of patients with diseases of the nervous system. The centre also co-ordinates and provides clinical neuroscience training and conducts basic and clinical neuroscience research in Singapore.

 

Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory (TLL) is a non-profit organization established in 2002 to undertake cutting edge research in molecular biology and genetics utilizing a broad range of model organisms.
