MERLION 2008 Call Results PDF 

Among the 69 proposals the Embassy received, 20 projects and 5 PhD candidates have been selected by a French scientific evaluation committee in coordination with local partners from NUS, NTU and A*STAR. Once again, the overall quality of the proposals was excellent and projects have been awarded in many various fields. 

The 20 selected projects are:

  • Enhanced production of Flavivirus envelope Domain III protein presented on retrovirus Gag and Adenovirus particles
  • Substrate nanotopography modulates cell responses in 3D hydrogel scaffolds
  • Impact of chemotherapy on the immune microenvironment of human lung cancer
  • Modulation of hippocampal-prefrontal cortical long-term potentiation

Social Sciences:

  • A tale of two countries: A comparative study of bilingual children’s literacy transfer in Singapore and France

Engineering:

  • Enabling Technology for Wafer Level 3-D ICs
